Lunch just got a whole lot better with this tasty Reuben sandwich created by Patrick Friesen, Culinary Director at Applejack Hospitality. The savoury, salty, and tangy flavours blend to create a beloved deli classic using our Sourdough loaf.
Ingredients

2x slices Sourdough bread

100g Corned Beef
-
1x slice Swiss Cheese
-
1/4 cup of Sauerkraut

Thousand Island Dressing

1x tbsp butter
Method

Toast two slices of Sourdough bread until they're golden brown.

Spread the inside of one slice with Thousand Island dressing.

On the other slice, stack layers of corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut.

Place the dressing-coated slice on top.

Grill or heat sandwich in the fry pan until the cheese is melted and the filling is warmed through.
